The old steam pipes that took the steam from Foster St/Morley St (Reckitts to the Dansom lane site for heating the factory, much money spent and it turned out a waste of time as by the time the steam got to Danny lane site it was only luke warm.
Mike Sanderson:
Used to run along these and actually take the aluminum covers off, even hang off that part before the drain was filled in and of course tie a rope from it and swing over the drain !! crazy days , the things we got up to , if my mum and found out they would have gone mad !! !
